Did you know that Eagles' feet are almost full size at 6 weeks of age. The size of their foot pad tells us if they are male or female.
Our partner from Falconshire Raptors helping at a nest. Concerned about the health of one of the eaglets, they brought a vet out to the nest. After WOWRI finished measuring and taking blood from the small bird, they had the vet assess the eaglet and one of its wings. Prognosis - healthy!
