The Little Traverse Bay Bands of the Odawa Indians is an important partner for the researchers at WOWRI. We work with them on the nests on the ceded lands and areas that hold spiritual  significance for the tribe. We are adding special colored bands and conducting nestling surveys. We are also training their natural resources staff so that they can also do this research with us. WOWRI appreciates this Tribe and their work and conservation.
