Kellie Carr brings more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. Through her research at Western Michigan University, she investigates how tax practices, auditing, and financial reporting affect organizational transparency — including issues of fraud and conflicts of interest.
Her scholarship is especially relevant in light of increased regulatory scrutiny from bodies such as the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as she explores how tax-related practices influence financial reporting and corporate accountability.
